From the outside looking in. The WT is very ripe for attack for people waking up. First you have all these child rape cases going on right now. Get a good lawyer question: My son or daughter committed suicide when he was d/fed because of the WT policy. There is another string of lawsuits/settlements. Third you have the blood issue: another lawyer -- dad says I am now raising 4 children by myself and I lost my loving wife because of the WT policy on blood. More lawsuits/settlements. It is not going to take to long for all of these settlements to add up to billions $$$$. How long before the real estate empire has to disolve.

In the early 90s my husband and I bought a very large 4 story colonial, we had an infant son not yet 1 year old, so we knew he was not to blame. Each night we would go through the entire house and turn everything off. Get in bed -- in the silence we could hear a radio playing. Out of bed search the entire house never finding anything. This went on for months. Finally someone suggested that we ask an electrician. The previous owner had put an antenna system in the walls of the attic and we had a speaker phone in our bedroom. Speaker phone was exchanged real quick. Mystery solved but drove me nuts for months. -

Someone told me this was a loving organization. All 3 of these Elders should have responded immediately the moment they first heard she was suicidial and called the authorities, it is their responsibility. Had she of followed through with the suicide and they had knowledge of her threats they could be brought up on charges.
To ignore a child in this situation is just plain ignorant. Again this is another case of emotional abuse. Where is the love here, what did the child do????? Answer that question. You leave him sitting, struggling in pain.
I sure hope she teaches him TTATT!!

My Real Calling / Mission In Life Is Here on J-W.com
by smiddy insometime during or after my conversion to jehovah witnesses 55 years ago , i felt it was my calling , duty , mission , to preach the word , and witness to as many people as i could about the watchtower`s interpretation of the bible that i believed was the truth.. and may i presume i am not alone there .i feel many if not all would have had similar thoughts.. without being presumptuous i think i have found my real calling in life , in doing what little i can to add my 2 cents worth in exposing this religion for what a fraud it actually is ,especially to the newbies , because most of us here have already found ttatt .. so witnessing to the truth about jehovah`s witnesses on this board , gives me much more pleasure than i ever had witnessing for the watchtower organization.
and this site / board has enabled me to do that , thank you simon ,ang, and company.. smiddy.

This "Worldly Person" LOL realy did not understand disfellowshipping and shunning. Never exposed to it before. But got that email "good bye, have a nice life". The Elder had been in my life for five years and gone that fast, I sure did not understand this thing. My girlfriend called him the "Devil", my daughter called him " flaming idiot jerk"
It was not till I found this forum did I understand how this man turn from being the sweetest, kindest, caring, loving human being I had ever met into the Devil instantly.

Finkelstein, being a single parent of two children and working extremely hard to put one of them through private school and one of them public school. Then college. BUT I found time to fight for other peoples kids too. I am totally APPALLED by not only the sexual abuse BUT the level of EMOTIONAL ABUSE!!!
Child advocate is not a career for me just a passion, by profession I am in the financial field I just did this as the need presented itself. I cannot stand to see a child hurt in anyway.
My heart goes out to every child who has to endure this life, just the emotional part is horrible and education! !!!

JWdaughter, both of my children and I will protect their children against pedophiles. I have always fought for everyones kids not just mine. My kids were made aware of this subject when they were 12 and 17 when I ended up taking into my home a mother and her 4 children till we could get the scum bag safely in jail. Does this sound familiar "well if she would return to the church and forgive me then everything would be ok" ? I cannot tell you how close I came to straggling him, knowing he had sexual abused 4 of his own children. He is rotting in jail, where all pedophiles belong. Just my honest opinion.
WT WIZARD 1000% agreement with everything you said. And the "the Elder" had hoped I would see different and become a JW. The only book he gave me to read was the one on Families before I got through it, it went flying across the room. When I started to ask questions is when I got the email "good bye, have a nice life" unsigned. LOL

From reading my previous post many of you know I am a Worldly Person and have been a life long child advocate. My heart goes out to the JW children and women. These last 5 months education here and JWfacts, JWstruggles, has been very enlightening. The Conti case and others, all the emotional, physical and sexual abuse. The hiding of pedophiles in the KH without reporting them.
Right now I have a huge issue with the location of a certain KH. Knowing what I know now about the JWS not reporting pedophiles. I also know what our state laws are regarding how close pedophiles must be away from say a public ball field where kids play. This particular ball field is HUGE it has many baseball diamonds along with lots of other things for kids.
I have to pick up my grandchildren several times a week, my rage boils over every time I see the location of this KH because I know it is WAY to close!!! My grandkids are not old enough yet to use this field BUT how many unsuspecting parents are dropping their kids off there not knowing the dangers across the street!!
